Profile of Zhao Hongchen
赵红尘简介
Zhao Hongchen （male） was born in Guangdong， China in 1968. He graduated with a degree in Creative Writing from the Chinese Department at Shanghai Fudan University in 1991.
Zhao began writing poems in August of 1986， and was soon praised as one of the few outstanding poets in China’s contemporary poem field. Zhao’s poem works have been published both home and abroad in journals such as People’s Literature， Hua Cheng， Writers， and Poems. He won the national contemporary poetry competition in 1990 and a writing award from Works in 1991 as well as many other awards from Poetry and Star Poery journals.Zhao’s poetry collections include Bacchus is Drunk， Biography and Fabel of the Bride，etc.
In 2007， Zhao incorporated poetry into painting， seeking to express his strong poetic feelings through painting. Soonafter， Zhao initiated “ Embroidery painting menthod”， a unique paiting technique applying to traditional Chinese brush drawings. Zhao’s collection of poerry paintings， Life’s Hues， came out in May，2009.
On June 17th， 2009， Zhao launched his solo exhibition theming “Colors of Emotions” in Hong Kong Culture Center， Hong Kong.
On September 19th， 2009， Zhao launched his another solo exhibition theming “The Fate” in Hong Kong Art Museum， 798 Art District， Beijing， China.
On March 13th， 2010， Zhao launched his latest solo exhibition theming “95Supreme” in Hong Kong Art Museum， 798 Art District， Beijing， China.

赵红尘，男，1968年生于中国广东。
1986年8月开始写诗，被誉为“中国新诗百年罕见的少数几个杰出诗人之一” 。先后在《人民文学》、《花城》、《作家》、《诗刊》等海内外报刊发表作品。荣获1990年全国新诗大赛一等奖、1991年《作品》文学奖及《诗刊》《星星诗刊》诗歌奖等多次奖项。着有《酒神醉了》《自转》《新娘寓言》等诗集。
2007年开始，携诗入画，探索似非而是的绘画之道，自创“绣色画法”，力倡“画诗主义”，着有画诗集《生命的色相》。
2009年6月17日香港文化中心举办“情感色彩：赵红尘画展”。
2009年9月19日北京798艺术区香港美术馆举办“命运绘：赵红尘个展”。
2010年3月13日北京798艺术区香港美术馆举办“九五至尊：赵红尘个展”。
