将水墨作为单纯的艺术媒介从传统的中国画概念中剥离出来，应该是每一个水墨画家实现其艺术现代性的最好的契机。在当下的中国，很多女性艺术家选择以水墨介质作为自己艺术创作的途径，是因为发现了水墨与当代艺术其它创作方式在观看世界的视觉经验完全不同的要素，以及水墨艺术所具备的潜在的可能性，并预将之发挥至极限。


“她的笔下”是四九画廊计划持续推出的当代水墨女性艺术家的展览，希望通过每一期持续的推荐，为大家呈现当代女性艺术家在水墨创作中的多种艺术状态，也希望通过这个展览主题挖掘出更多优秀的年轻女性艺术家。

For all ink painters who expect to achieve artistic modernity, it is the best opportunity to single out Ink wash painting from the traditional Chinese painting concepts, as a single artistic medium. In China today, many women artists choose ink medium as their creative approach, because they have found that ink wash painting differs from the other creative methods in contemporary art on visual experience of viewing the world, and meanwhile, Ink wash painting boasts potentials to be developed.

 

To be held successively by Gallery49, 'Her Paintbrush' is a series of exhibitions of contemporary women ink painters. The exhibitions not only present various creative states of these painters, but also attempt to  explore more young and outstanding women artists.
