Meta-urbanized city by digital images reveals typical region’s spontaneous structural landscapes and its subjects through combination of each different type of groups. Usually the subjects are mundane products in the context of market economy, and these roll as elements of urban landscape, pattered by repetitive flow of everyday life. Meta of these landscapes became urban images along their similar structures and fragments. Jang’s works in docu_META include a video piece shoot in Korea, and panels made by combination of found subjects while living in Heiqiao, Beijing, China. Jang depicts logic of local time and choice initialized from daily strolling time, and made by familiar repetition of urban town.
