艺术简介

李广明,1965年出生于安徽,1992年毕业于浙江美术学院,2000年清华大学美术学院研究生班毕业,职业艺术家。启蒙老师为靳尚谊、全山石、葛鹏仁。早年从事各种艺术门类探索,及各种艺术形式的大型专业展览策划活动。2002年游学欧洲,同年创作《为长城延伸一万里》大型时空装置作品,已装置于北京八达岭、北京大学、希腊、意大利,还将装置于山海关、嘉峪关、香港、澳门、台湾、法国、美国等地。2006年在北京宋庄艺术区创办上上美术馆。2008年创办了亲自设计的目前亚洲最大的民营美术馆——上上国际美术馆,至今任上上国际美术馆馆长。2006年创立新水墨“冰墨”艺术,成为“冰墨”艺术的开创者。2011年9月,在中国美术馆成功举办“站立的水墨——李广明冰墨个人艺术展”,获得国内外学术界普遍认可和很高的评价。同时又开创了“风”、“影”、“气”、“光”及“种画”新艺术系列,充分运用了东方文化艺术理念与西方当代艺术相结合的手法,扩展出了一条全新的东方式的艺术道路,被西方专家学者评为东方艺术魔法师。

2012年被《中国艺术报道》评为最具学术价值与市场潜力的艺术家。2014年被评为“首届北京城市副中心十大文化名人”,是中国新艺术、新水墨艺术的推动者。出版专辑有《后水墨·新语境——李广明“自然呈现主义”艺术》、《冰墨艺术》、《与传统打一造面》、《天光云影》、《水墨主义·当代主义》、《水墨社会》、《历史新宋庄》、《宋庄制造》等。

2007年受美国前总统卡特接见,并受中国对外友好协会的邀请为其创作肖像油画作品。2008年受美国前总统老布什接见,并受中国对外友好协会的邀请为其创作肖像油画作品。2008年观念艺术作品《长城鼎》被奥组委作为国礼送给各国元首。2008年在国际奥委会的邀请下与萨马兰奇先生会面与交流,萨马兰奇先生代表国际奥委会为《长城鼎》作品亲自签名并颁发证书。作品被国内外多家机构收藏,如人民大会堂、中南海、卢浮宫、美国大使馆、法国大使馆、意大利大使馆等。

Profile of Li Guangming
Li Guangming was born in 1965 in Anhui Province and graduated from Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in 1992 and received his master degree from Academy of Arts & Design Tsinghua University in 2000. As a professional artist, his first teachers are Jin Shangyi, Quan Shanshi and Ge Pengren. In the early years, he devoted himself to the exploration of various art genres, as well as planning of large-scale and specialized exhibition of different art forms. In 2002, he studied in Europe and the same year created a large time apparatus work An 10,000 Miles Extension of the Great Wall, which has been installed at Badaling of Beijing, Peking University, Greece and Italy, and will be set up at Shanhai Pass, Jiayu Pass, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, France and the United States, etc.
He established Sunshine Museum at Songzhuang Art District of Beijing in 2005. In 2007, under his leadership outstanding artists from Songzhuang District and other cities of China held Sino-French Contemporary Art Exhibition in France, the largest contemporary art exhibition in Chinese and French history, which exerted extensive influence in international community. He is the curator of Sunshine International Art Museum, currently the largest private museum in Asian, which was founded and designated by him. Meanwhile, he holds the title of art director of Museum Of Contemporary Art Beijing, curator of Beijing New Ink Art Museum. He successively planned over 200 major exhibitions such as “Sky and Clouds”, “Coming Face to Face with Tradition”, “Inkism”, “Ink Society” and “Site of Survival”, which extended substantial impact and contributed enormously to the rapid development of Songzhuang District’s diversified art ecology. Having earned high reputation and status in domestic and international art exhibition and academic community, he invited Mr. Carter, President of The World Association of Chinese Artists as the honorary curator of Sunshine International Art Museum. Sunshine International Art Museum has always been supportive and cooperative in large-scale cultural activities held by governments at all levels. Served as the main venue of China Art Industry Expo and Art Festival in Songzhuang for consecutive sessions, the Museum made remarkable contribution to the prosperity of cultural industries in Tongzhong District of Beijing, and thus won “Outstanding Contribution Award in Cultural and Creative Industry of Songzhuang Town 2010”.
He became the founder of “Icy Ink” art of new ink painting in 2006. After successfully staging “Stand-up Water and Ink: Li Guangming’s Icy Ink Art Exhibition” in September, 2011, he received wide-acknowledgment and high praises from academic circles home and abroad. At the same time, he initiated new art series of “wind”, “shadow”, “air” and “planting drawing”. Full combining eastern art and cultural theories with contemporary western art, he explored a brand new way for eastern art and, was called as magician of East art by western experts and scholars. In 2012, he was rated as one of the artists of greatest academic value and market potential by China Art Report, and was ranked in the first session of “Ten Cultural Celebrities in Sub-center of Beijing” in 2014. As the prompter of China’s new art and new ink art, he published many relevant works including Post Ink Painting & New Context: Art of “Simultaneous Presentation” by Li Guangming, Icy Ink Art , Coming Face to Face with Tradition, Sky and Clouds, Inkism & Contemporarism, Ink Society, History & New Songzhuang, and Made in Songzhuang, etc.
Received by the former US President Jimmy Carter in 2007 and former President George H.W. Bush in 2008, Li painted an oil portrait for each of them under the invitation of Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. In 2008, his conceptual art work The Ding in the Shape of the Great Wall was a gift that the Olympic Organizing Committee gave to the heads of states. The same year invited by the International Olympic Committee, Li met and exchanged ideas with Mr. Samaranch, who signed on the The Ding in the Shape of the Great Wall on behalf of the International Olympic Committee and awarded a certificate. Li’s works were collected by many institutions home and abroad, such as the Great Hall of the People, Zhongnanhai, the Louvre Museum, the U.S. Embassy, French Embassy and Italian Embassy in China, etc.
