王志杰，1962年出生于辽宁省盖州市，幼始习画。至少年时，油画作品《青春啊青春》入选文革后首届省青年美展。其后，考入鲁迅美术学院学习四年。之后两年间，油画作品《塔吉克少妇》入选国家美协之“丝绸之路”展并获银奖，油画作品《北方的农夫》参加首届中日油画精品大赛并获优秀作品奖及市政府文艺创作一等奖。现为辽宁省美术家协会会员，于宋庄从事绘画创作。

Wang Zhijie, born 1962, is a native of Gaizhou, Liaoning Province. He started painting since childhood and, as a teenager painter, his oil painting, “Youth, Ah, Youth,” was selected into the first provincial youth art exhibition after the Cultural Revolution. He then was enrolled into the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and studied there for four years. In the following two years, his oil painting, “A Tajik Young Woman,” was admitted to “The Silk Road” art exhibition hosted by the China Artists Association and as awarded the silver prize. His oil painting, “A Northern Farmer,” was admitted to the First China-Japan Selected Oil Painting Context and was awarded as an outstanding work and a first prize by the city government for artistic creation. He is now a member of the Liaoning Artists Association and is engaged in painting in Song Zhuang.
