Soul Touch ( S T )provides customized residencies for international artists in China focused on network and exposure support, and direct project/production assistance. This includes weekly meetings with professionals within the creative industry, regularly scheduled one­on­one sessions with the ST staff and a public program opportunity for each artist in MOUart gallery that is reviewed and  approved by our curatorial staff.

 We are currently accepting residents for the 2017 season which runs from February 1 to November 30.  A minimum duration of 3 months is strongly encouraged to take full advantage of the opportunities and resources the program provides. 

 The ST Residency program cost is $1500 per month.  For international artists, this cost as well  as travel and living costs is generally covered by sponsoring institutions from their home countries OR themselves. When a residency application is accepted, ST assists in this funding process by providing formal letters of  invitation and other relevant information concerning the program which the artist then submits to the  under(s). Please note, there should be at least 6 months between the results from a sponsoring organization and the start of the residency.

 To apply for a residency in 2017, please send us a residency proposal, your updated CV/Resume, and  work portfolio. Tell us about your practice and how you think a ST residency in China would be beneficial to you.

Please note that in addition to the ST’s Program cost, the sponsor or the artist also covers the airfare, external workspace or project expenses, and living costs(except rent)
