米爱克‧艾立刻(爱沙尼亚)
一九九○年米爱克‧艾立刻毕业于「爱沙尼亚艺术学院」陶艺研究所,之后的一九九○年至一九九四年,她担任「塔巴数音乐学校」艺术课程主任。
她早期的作品强调高温的几何造型,并在高温陶土上做绘画性的浮雕装饰。
从一九九五年开始,她一直都是「爱沙尼亚艺术家协会」和「爱沙尼亚陶艺家学会」的会员。
九○年代中期,她开始试验骨瓷,而骨瓷也成为她在陶艺中的最爱。相对于细致的瓷土,米爱克也使用坑烧、乐烧和柴烧。
二○○五年她在「雷弗艺术中心」教陶艺,二○○七年成为「科希拉教育中心」的老师。
过去二十年来,米爱克曾经参加在爱沙尼亚、拉脱维亚、立陶宛、苏格兰、挪威、克罗埃西亚共和国(荣誉奖得主)和芬兰的评选展览。
她曾经在拉脱维亚、立陶宛、捷克和克罗埃西亚共和国参加研讨会,也受邀在爱沙尼亚、芬兰和克罗埃西亚共和国举办研习营和示范。
Merike Hallik (Estonia)
In 1990 Merike Hallik graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts, Department of Ceramics, master degree. After that she has been in charge of teaching in Tabasalu Music School, Head of Art Class from 1990 to 1994.
Her previous works emphasized geometrical structure as they were made with techniques which needed high heat temperatures. She has used the techniques of stoneware, where she used the graphical décor in order to emphasize the relief surface of her work.
Since 1995 she has been a member of the Estonian Artist Association and Estonian Ceramists’ Association.
In the middle of 1990’ Merike Hallik experimented with bone china and it became her favorite area in ceramics. In contrast to porcelain, Merike has also used pit-firing, raku and wood-firing.
She started teaching ceramics in Rapla Centre of Arts in 2005, and became a teacher at the Kohila Educational Centre in 2007.
For the past twenty years Merike has been exhibiting in many selected group exhibitions in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Scotland, Norway, Croatia (winner of the honorary diploma) and Finland.
She participated in symposiums in Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic and Croatia, and has been invited to make several workshops or demonstrations in Estonia, Finland and Croatia.
