二零零七年，王宇選了這兩套作品辦了第一個個展。到了二零一三年，她回首最初，看了第一個個展時寫下的東西，再看了看現在的作品題材，才發現這些年過去了，似乎畫風、題材都有變化，但她想表現的東西，總還是那些，不同的手法，訴說同樣的感受和意願，就如回想過去一樣。王宇這次拿出這兩套作品，一面為了警醒自我繼續堅持，一方面也希望觀眾從曾經的東西裡看到她從未改變的表達意願。

In 2007, WANG YU chose these two sets of works for her first solo exhibition. In 2013, she looked back to what she wrote in her first solo exhibition and compared it with what she is doing now. WANG discovered even her styles and subject matter has changed in these years, she is still expressing the same feelings and wishes as she started, just in a different approach. These paintings recalled her about her past. Through this exhibition, the artist would like to alert herself to persist in her creations, and she also hopes the audiences can see something that remains unchanged in her.
