关于本次展览

水的渗透在毛君的创作中一直存在极大的兴趣，在艺术界不乏以水为表现对象的艺术家，惊涛骇浪或春水微澜，似乎都不能与毛君的水形成明显的对应关系，毛从作品的画面来看，毛君的水不急不徐，不计从何而来，人们想起海德格尔的”日常的状态”。在《存在与时间》中海德格尔认为生存在世界上的“人”，必将通过情绪，领会，语言等方式与各色各样的物事打交道，世界也就在这种展开中展开成为人的舞台。这种展开，在人的日常中存在着相应的对应样式。“日常”也是毛君喜欢的另外一个主题，从日常相关的作品里我们可以承认他对存在与时间，变化与永恒，日日相续的过程中进入他的生活。人作为存在，唯一不变的，就是其变化。固定存在着的真理，只有探索求是道（路）。毛君一个个系列的作品也如同流动的水一样在日常生活细润无声的状态中建构起来，坚定执着地呈现出生命绚丽的色彩。

About This Exhibition

Mao Jun always has a great interest in water. There is no shortage of artists who use water as the subject of expression, whether it is in the form of mighty waves or tranquil ripples. However, very few have the same sensibility to water as Mao Jun. Mao’s works are neither presentational nor representational, but filled with an indescribable philosophy. When one observes the pictorial plans, water in Mao's works flows slowly without an origin, it reminds the viewer of Martin Heidegger's "everydayness". In "Sein und Zeit", Heidegger believes that humans in the world deal with things through emotion, understanding, language and other elements, and the world reciprocally becomes a stage in development. The kind of development in people undefined daily lives has no corresponding style. "Daily lives" is also another favorite subject of Mao Jun. From the related works, one can read into Mao Jun's life in being and time, in change and eternity. In being, the only thing that does not change is change itself. The only truth that exists fixed is to explore the way (path) of seeking truth from facts. Mao Jun's work series is akin to flowing water, it is constructed in daily lives' refined and silent state, displaying firmly the gorgeous colors of life.
