毕业于中央美术学院附中、本科、硕士，同年留校任教。 

现为中央美术学院中国画学院讲师、中国美术家协会会员。

中国画创作《光明使者》参加“第六届中国北京国际美术双年展”；
《试水》参加“第五届中国北京国际美术双年展”、“第四届全国青年美术作品展”获优秀奖；
《腊尔山早集》参加“第十二届全国美术作品展中国画展”；
《拼了！》参加“铸魂鉴史 珍爱和平—纪念中国人民抗战暨世界反法西斯战争胜利70周年美展”，被中国美术馆收藏；

Liao Qin, an alumnus of the High School attached to China Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), graduated from CAFA with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, and is currently a lecturer of the Chinese Painting Department of CAFA and a member of China Artists Association.

His Chinese painting Lightbringer was selected into the 6th Beijing International Art Biennale. Water Testing was exhibited in the 5th Beijing International Art Biennale, and won an Outstanding Award in the 4th National Art Exhibition of Young Painters.

The Morning Market in La’er Mountain was shown in the Exhibition of Chinese Paint of the 12th National Art Exhibition in 2014. The Desperate Fight was exhibited in the Casting souls, Learning from history and Cherishing peace — Art Exhibition in Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese aggression and World Anti-Fascist War, and was collected in National Art Museum of China.
