Lewis Gesner

定居於台灣高雄的美國藝術家。早期即對於各種形式的藝術表現感興趣，其中包括文字、視覺藝術和音樂。在往後的創作中，他在這些不同領域開展出不同形式的表現，藉由音樂表演，藝術展覽與出版。透過學術性研究，他意識到這些領域之間彼此無法分家，開始自由隨機地結合這些不相同的媒介。他的展演經歷無數，已在畫廊、音樂廳、詩歌藝術節與國際出版社等發表相關作品。當他認同自己身為藝術家的身份，他希望可以持續朝著這條充滿未知形式的道路向前行。

Lewis Gesner

I am an American artist living in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I became interested early on in my life in many forms of expression, which included writing, visual art, and music. Later in life I pursue all of these separately, through music performance, art exhibition, and publication. While studying these academically, I came to realize they were not separate mediums for me, and began to freely combine and blend them together. I have presented my work since in galleries, concert halls, poetry festivals, and publications internationally. While I identify as an artist, it is my wish to continue on a path toward undefinable forms.
