陳舜芝 1954-

    從事繪畫創作四十餘年，援用了單純的線狀元素去舖陳畫面，技法上有別於傳統油彩厚重堆疊的塊面表現，她則追求一種薄而透明且延展性極高的輕盈效果，屬於東方繪畫語言的優雅抒情。創造出一個她所屬意的藝術空間，其中清楚的傳遞著單純、透明、流暢、崇尚秩序，---一種追求生命還源的想望。

    這些歡愉的線群，相互簇擁、串結，一束束虛實緊鬆，或具象或抽象，活潑舒暢急緩流轉間，展演著一種生命的曲調。－－陳舜芝藉著她畫中的線串，正抒理著緊繃的人世與紊雜了的思維。

Chen Shun Chin 1954-      

    Engaged in painting creation for over 40 years, Chen’s oil paintings emphasize a simple layout of linear elements, distinct from the block structure of thick oil paints. Her pursuit is an effect of lightness, transparency and discontinuity, an elegant and lyrical oriental painting language. Chen, by means of linear structure, creates her personal artistic space and clearly expresses simplicity, transparency, fluency and a yearning for life rebirth.

    These cheerful bundles of lines, embracing and binding each other, illusory or realistic, tight or loose, solid or abstract, demonstrate a tune of life. The lines in her paintings, is combing out this intense world and people’s chaotic thoughts.
