Art Taipei 2015 深秋(霜降)四重奏-劉國松 林順雄 蕭耀 吳承硯
Late Autumn (Frosting) Quartet---Liu Guo Song, Sun Lin, York Hsiao, Wu Chen Yen
每逢季節更迭時分,感受自然的律動與景致的移轉最深。此時,藝術家藉由不同的創作題材與媒材,勾勒出自身心靈的韻律與脈絡,將蘊含於心中許久的能量,從作品中澎湃呈現。
During the transition of the seasons, the feeling of the rhythm of nature and the change of scenery can be felt the deepest. At this time, artists, using different subjects and media, describe the rhythm and connection from their own body, heart, and soul to express the stored energy in their mind and abundantly present in their works.
首都藝術中心將在此次展出四位藝術家:劉國松、林順雄、蕭耀、與吳承硯,分別透過四種不同的藝術創作媒介,包括水墨、水彩、壓克力與油畫,共譜出層次分明的曼妙藝術樂曲,題材與媒材堆疊交織,引領您遨遊壯闊山水、生命萬物的情感連結、情慾滾動翻騰與靜物微卓精雕,呈現視覺與心靈的絕美饗宴。
In this exhibit, Capital Art Center will present the works by four artists, Liu Guo Song, Sun Lin, York Hsiao, and Wu Cheng Yan. Through four different media including Chinese ink, water color, acrylic, and oil, just like the different harmonious musical instruments to produce beautiful music, these artists present to you the ultimate feast in vision and spirit through their different subjects and media, which includes the magnificent scenery of mountains and rivers, the emotional connections between all living things, the turmoil of erotic emotions, and the realism of still studies.
首先,由譽為現代水墨畫之父的劉國松,以「抽筋剝皮皴」、「水拓法」、「漬墨法」等獨到技法,將所見之深山峻谷轉化為心中廣闊山水奇景,甚至前所未有的將無垠宇宙海納至水墨創作中,徹底打破世人對傳統水墨臨摹與技法之既定印象,以百年第一人作為壯闊澎湃的開場。
First, Master Liu Guo Song, known as the father of contemporary Chinese ink painting, employing his own special paper texture technique, ink-rubbing technique, and light ink technique transforms the tall mountains and deep valleys into the spacious scenery of mountains and rivers in his mind, even including the vast and limitless universe. His creations completely exceed the common images of traditional Chinese ink painting and techniques to bring you the exciting, uncommon, and strong first act.
緊接著,台灣頂尖的水彩畫家之一,林順雄,不僅對水性媒材運用自如,更揉合西方創作之媒介與東方禪意之神韻,在一虛一實、一動一靜之間,透過獨到的暈染技法,從深遠自然景致至細微飛禽走獸,在他的畫筆下,以更超越寫實的再現,演奏出藝術家心中之曼妙旋律,餘音繞樑,回味無窮。
Right after is one of the top water color artists, Master Sun Lin. His works not only show the many facets and full potential of the water color media, but are also the perfect example of combining the western media and the Eastern zen spirit. Between the movement and the stillness, the real and the surreal objects, through his own diffused color techniques, his subjects span the vast natural scenery to small birds and animals. Under his paint brush, his subjects are shown in a form that surpasses the reality as magnificent musical melodies within the artist’s mind.
第三部,藝術家蕭耀以跨領域的藝術家身分,精準的設計背景和一絲不苟的個人特質,同樣反映在自身的創作上。近幾年的「好色之塗」系列,經過時間淬鍊雕琢,掌握男女之間若即若離、愛恨情慾纏綿的意象與符號,在畫布中以壓克力顏料為主,混合媒材為輔的厚實肌理,以強而有力之構圖與簡潔的塊狀形色,具體而微的傳達人對七情六慾之渴求,為此藝術樂曲激起最高潮的篇章。
As the third movement, Master York Hsiao in his cross-boundary artist role presents his works reflecting his unique precise design background and his own meticulous personal charisma. His latest series of “The Paintings of Good Colors”, presented the complex feelings between men and women with abstract images and symbols of love, hate, and erotic suggestion. His paintings employ mainly Acrylic colors and combine with mixed media for strong textures to convey the strong human thirst for lust and love which brings the climax for this melody of art.
最後,以吳承硯厚實的油彩創作,在印象與古典寫實交織的視覺風格,將樸實靜物、盛開花卉與鄉村景致,透過油彩的層次堆疊,捕捉光陰流轉中那最美好的時刻,為此場盛宴譜出完美結尾。
Lastly, come the steady oil paintings of Master Wu Cheng Yan, in a mixture of impressionism and classical realism. He brought out the best moments during the transition of time using unassuming still subjects, such as flowers in full broom, or country scenery, with the layering of his oil media to bring the perfect ending to this wonderful feast of art.
