－Artist  Application Form－

   Found Museum was founded in 2008,2,000 centiare,is divided into three main areas: Area A was reconstructed based on the old ‘foundry’ built in 1990s, which is cathedral-like building towering over 16 meters, retaining its original character. Different from Area A ,B and C were newly designed. Area B will be facilitated with exhibition, video ,and VIP room, etc.The three exhibition areas are interrelated, together with the outdoor sculpture exhibition square, compose the complex multi-display space.

  Found Museum will provide young artists around the world free display space to showcase and popularize their works in Beijing,China.The purpose of this project is to encourage young,creative artists show their works widely and interact with the external ,including painting, sculpture, photography etc.Applicant submit their applications and coordinate this exhibition with   Found Museum according to the specific space if their application approved.

Application Qualifications

• Applicant should be engaged in contemporary art or exhibition curated, individuals or groups .(For all nationality).
• Application of authorities , school or graduation exhibition will be rejected.

Application Guidelines

Please provide all information as below and send it to Found Museum.Please fill out the application form and materials as listed all prepared ,or application would be rejected by Found Museum.

• A resume outlining artistic accomplishments, awards, exhibitions, published work etc.
• Display works reference:(name,pic,size,years,medium,idea illustration)
• Visual artists: Include 3 slides representative of your recent work and or CD, DVD / video for new media artists or hotlink to your website.
• Copies of recent articles, reviews, and catalogue would also be useful.

Selection Criteria

The Exhibition proposal approved by the Found Museum and we‘ll contact you immediately or should be applied for a next the next time. Unselected one should not raise objection for the result.

Exhibition Schedule

• According to exhibition proposal,space requirement,exhibition features and applicants’s intentions.  
• Exhibition period from six to eight weeks,Found Museum deserve the right to adjust the time and date.
• Applicant should write a formal notification to Found Museum three months in advance if the exhibition wouldn't be on scheduled or any unexpected occurred.
