王承云，1959年生于成都市。1986年毕业于四川美术学院油画系，并留校任教。1991/1995年 德国布伦瑞克高等艺术学院大师级学生毕业。1995年至今 德国职业艺术家，2000-2007年 四川美术学院聘请教授。2004年至今川音成都美院特聘教授。评论的文章有：《王承云的艺术难题》-李径宇，《中国新闻周刊》、《翻云覆雨—王承云艺术的心理感官学》-郑乃铭
