苏新平(1960—)生于内蒙古集宁市。中央美术学院版画系系主任。1983年毕业于天津美术学院绘画系，在内蒙古师范大学美术系任教。1989年毕业于中央美术学院版画系，获得硕士学位。现为中央美术学院教授、中国美术家协会会员。主要展览：FIRE STATION画廊 (澳大利亚悉尼) ；ORANG画廊(美国亚特兰大市)。LKF画廊(香港)；OIANGGL画廊(美国亚特兰大市)。苏新平10年版画作品展(北京红门画廊)。当代中国画廊 (英国伦敦)；夏玛利尔现代艺术博物馆(法国)；苏新平油画展(北京红门画廊)。苏新平版画展(新加坡LASALLE－SIA艺术学院)；苏新平新作品展(北京红门画廊)。大量作品参加国内外展览，如日本、法国、意大利罗马、瑞典哥德堡、澳大利亚、美国、新加坡、芬兰等。曾获得过多次奖，作品被国内外机构及私人收藏。发表论文：《母题与空间》、《美术》、《我的创作及艺术追求》、《版画艺术》。
