“青年如初春,如朝日,如百卉之萌動,人生最可寶貴之時期也。”天趣國際藝術邁入2019年的首個大展《無態度的態度》將攜來自中國大陸、香港、澳洲、法國、德國等海外的青年藝術家,展現他們的藝術態度和文化立場。展覽於2019年1月18日(週五)開幕,1月19日(週六)舉辦圓桌論壇,展期至3月10日。

 

“Youth is like early spring, rising sun and a new bud. It is the most precious period during our lifetime.”The first exhibition from Art of Nature in 2019 will bring young artists from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Australia, France, Germany and other countries, presenting their attitude to arts and their standpoint to culture. The exhibition will grand open on Friday, 18 January 2019, followed by a panel discussion on Saturday, 19 January 2019.  The exhibition can be viewed until 10 March 2019.

在全新時代多元文化中成長起來的年輕一代,對自然、生命、時間、社會乃至宇宙有著各自不同的全新解讀。這些青年藝術家不拘泥於標準或傳統,運用多元載體表達自己的審美與情感、觀點與態度,作品從內容到形式多角度詮釋藝術生存的新土壤,無限擴展“藝術”概念的外延,與本次策展人韓祺主張的“無態度的態度即是恰當的審美態度”這一理念不謀而合。“藝術創作是關於個人審美教育的自習課”,此次展出的作品,是幾位青年藝術家交的“自習作業”,不僅是他們現階段個人審美的體現,亦是他們對當前文化的理解與藝術創作態度的表達。

 

The young generation grow up in multicultural era have different interpretations of nature, life, time, society and even universe. These young artists do not cling to standard or tradition, they express their aesthetic and attitude by diversifiedcarriers. From contents to forms, their works annotate the new living environment for arts from multi angles,developingthe extension of art, which is perfectly in harmony with the idea from curator Han Qi, ”The appropriate aesthetic attitude should be a no-attitude one.”She also puts forward “Creation is the self-study of personal aesthetic education”. This exhibition showcases the “self-study homework” from young artists, presenting their aesthetics at current stage, understanding of the present culture, as well as the attitude to creation.

審美教育是關於態度的。最成功和最難的是實現培養一種無態度的態度。何謂無態度的態度?即是一種恰當的態度。

 

Aesthetic education is all about attitude. The most successful and challenging part is developing a “no-attitude” attitude. But what is the “no-attitude” attitude? The answer is, an appropriate attitude.

是否擁有恰當的審美態度,決定了是否能獲得審美經驗。什麼是恰當的審美態度呢?即 ,無功利、無概念、無目的。如何獲得恰當的審美態度呢?要獲得無態度的態度,要“減”,要與學習知識的方法相反,知識教育是“加”,審美教育是“減”。這裡的“減”如同禪宗,不可說!禪宗第一要義便是不可說。

 

Aesthetic education is all about attitude. The most successful and challenging part is developing a “no-attitude” attitude. But what is the “no-attitude” attitude? The answer is, an appropriate attitude.The appropriate aesthetic attitude leads to a good experience. What is the appropriate aesthetic attitude? Namely, an attitude that is non-utilitarian, non-conceptional and aimless. The way to obtain appropriate attitude is adverse to that of acquiring knowledge. Knowledge education is about addition while aesthetic education does subtraction, which is similar with ineffable Zen philosophy.

如何實施美育? 藝術創作是實施美育非常重要和作用顯著的一環,這是因為藝術“再現”特質所決定。因為藝術中的再現是無利害的,這種無利害可以令人超然。

 

How to implement aesthetic education? Creation is one of the significant parts for its nature of reconstruct. Because the reconstruct in art is disinterested and detached.

藝術創作,是關於個人審美教育的自習課,自我自覺的培養是最珍貴而重要的。此次展出的作品,是九位參展藝術家交的“自習作業”,既是自我教育的成果, 也是進行審美教育的載體。

 

Creation is the self-study of personal aesthetic education, which is valuable and important. The artworks presented in this exhibition can be regarded as the self-study homework of the participating artists, also the achievement of their self-study and the carrier of aesthetic education.
