《实在的维度I vs II》

实在的维度是吴鼎一直持续在进行的个人项目，主要运用文字、图片与视频作为主要创作媒介,进行影像方面的探索与实践。艺术家希望探讨真正隐藏在這个世界中那些只能被感知但无法被言说的“內在的秩序”―或许這是支撑起解释這个世界唯一的支点。這个支点是同一的，但同时又具有不同的维度。在吴鼎看來，它真正地指向了这个世界的实在的本质。他认为世界上一切事物的形态以及变化发展都存在着这样的一种秩序,这种秩序充满了直觉和美感,在由物质和现象组成的世界中,物质为什么会形成我们感官所感知到的实在物,并作为现象的一部分存在其中? 物质是真实存在的么?我们对于现象世界的本质认识又是什么?从物质到现象的背后, 或许确实隐藏着一种秩序,而它本身就具有一种无法言说的美。

 

The reality of the dimension I  vs  II

Skill- fully using text, images, and videos as his principal creative media.He aspires to explore the perceptible but indescribable “inner order” hid- den in the world — perhaps the only fulcrum that can move the world. In a world made up of matter and phenomena, how does matter become en- tities that we perceive with our senses and yet exist as a part of phenomena? Does matter truly exist? What is our understanding of the nature of the phe- nomenal world? “The dignity of movement of an iceberg is due to only one- eighth of it being above water.” I would like to explore the inner order lurking underneath matter and phenomena — which is itself an indescribable beauty.
